LATAKIA:
The foreign fighters are mostly concentrated in the area of Hatay, just
north of Latakia Province. Hatay is historically a part of Natural
Syria. The people there speak Arabic with a strong Syrian accent and
are religiously very similar to the people of Latakia. The stinking
French gave this part of Syria to Turkey as some half-witted consolation
prize after WWI and the Turks accepted knowing fully well it was an
Arabic province indistinguishable from the rest of Syria
demographically, culturally, linguistically and socially. It is now,
also, the area which the Turks try to inundate with the most sociopathic
of their Islamist murdering allies - the foreign mercenaries who
receive their wages from Qatar or Saudi Scarabia.
And even more bizarre is the French gift to the Turks of one of
Christianity's most resplendent capitals: Antioch, whose very name
evokes the birth of Christianity and its formation.
Americans and their allies approve of the concentration of ape forces in
Hatay because it directly threatens Dr. Assad's home turf, his province
and his home town of Qardaaha. It also threatens my wife's hometown of Slinfeh and our house there. We don't give this one up under any circumstances.
