With the Geneva II Peace Conference now underway and the ripples of tension caused by the conveniently timed release of a highly questionable Qatari-funded report alleging Syrian “crimes against humanity,” the eyes of world historical opinion are now focused upon the city of Montreux.
Ignoring for sake of argument the fact that the Syrian government has been pressured into attending “peace talks” with a foreign-backed invading force of fanatics, as well as the fact that the nations who are continuing to fund the invasion are sitting directly across the table from Syria’s legitimate government, the information being reported from the conference, much like the information that has been reported from Syria in general, has been largely scrubbed of relevant facts.
